Please make sure your Educreations lesson plans on the
historical context of To Kill a Mockingbird
are emailed to me by tomorrow morning. On Thursday, you will be presenting your
work.
Tomorrow, we will be watching a documentary in class about
Harper Lee and the time period TKAM was
written in. You will be taking notes on any new information you hear regarding
the Civil Rights movement, the Great Depression, Jim Crow laws, and the status
of TKAM as a controversial books so
that you can add to your Educreations presentations.
In addition, your House
on Mango Street creative vignettes are due tomorrow. Remember that since
this assignment is your final assessment for our unit it will count as a test
grade.
