Blues:
After sharing out your small-groups’ analysis on one of the
major themes found in House on Mango Street,
you were give your final assessment assignment for the unit.
Directions, graphic organizers, and a rubric related to that
project can all be found in our shared Dropbox folder. Go to “FA ELA Files –
Blue Class,” and then to the “House on Mango Street” subfolder. The files I am
referring to are (appropriately) titled, “Mango Final Assessment, New Vignette
Reverse Perspective” and “Mango Final Assessment, New Vignette Reverse
Perspective Rubric”.
Tonight, I want you to choose the character from whose
perspective you will be writing your creative vignette, and fill out both
graphic organizers. Tomorrow we will discuss any questions that you have as
well as some the nuances of the assignment.
