While I'm Away... Sub Work, Day 1

Blues:

For classwork today, you are to compile information on all 4 major witnesses from Tom Robinson's trial: Heck Tate, Bob Ewell, Mayella Ewell, and Tom Robinson himself. To do so, you will use the "TKAM Characterization Graphic Organizer, Trial Scenes" PDF in our "To Kill a Mockingbird" Dropbox shared-folder. (NOTE: You're going to have to select the file and press "Open in... PDF-Notes Free" four different times in order to have a graphic organizer for each character.)

The directions on the graphic organizer itself are fairly self-explanatory, so read them carefully and do the best work you can. This work is to be completed independently and should be submitted into your "ELA Q2 Submissions" folder before Thursday. (NOTE: You should be able to get through 3 characters in class and 1 for homework).

Special Manu Consideration: Ms. Pirkey should have printed out 4 copies of the PDF described above and given the copies to the substitute to give to you. If you haven't been reading along with the class, watch the film version of the testimonies and then fill out hard copies of the graphic organizers. The film is in our "TKAM Film Studies" Dropbox shared-folder; the testimonies begin at the 1 hour and 10 minute mark. If you have difficulty setting that up, ask Toni. And if you do not have headphones, borrow some from a friend.
