Good job with today's discussion, sirs. I have to admit that it's always kind of scary to sit back and relinquish control of the classroom like that, but you all handled yourselves very well.
As for this weekend, your homework is to read chapter 18 and to annotate pages 5 to 11. Specifically, start in the middle of page 5--"Slowly but surely I began to see the pattern of Atticus's questions..."--to the bottom of page 11--"'We'll take ten minutes.'"
On Tuesday we're going to discuss the differences between text and subtext, and I'm really looking forward to it.
