There are two very important things coming up.
Synthesis Essays
Synthesis
Essays are due on Friday. That means that once you are done writing all
of the individual pieces--intro paragraph, 3 body paragraphs, and a
conclusion paragraph--you need to put all of those pieces together in
order and in 1 word document. Paste all of your paragraphs into a
CloudOn Word document with your name at the top; title the document
"Synthesis Essay." If you have any questions, please bring them up in
class. If one of you is wondering about something, chances are good that
there are more students dealing with the same issue.
Night Reader Responses
By Monday, you should be done reading and responding to Elie Weisel's Night. This means that you should have submitted 4 sets of "reader responses" notes about the quotes that you have identified as being important:
For p. 1-46 you should have responded to 3 quotes.
For p. 47-65 you should have responded to 5 quotes.
For p. 66-97 you should have responded to 5 quotes.
For p. 97-end you should have responded to 5 quotes.
In the meantime, I'll be correcting everything that I owe you (as fast as I possibly can).
Work hard: luck means nothing.
